Breakfast with Audrey Hepburn at Tiffany’s

yah I know my title is SO lame but this post is so long overdue I can’t wait to share my thoughts.
Last Monday, my cousins and I had a movie marathon and the last movie we watched was Breakfast At Tiffany’s (my all-time favorite Audrey Hepburn film).

Being such a fan, I couldn’t help but notice Audrey’s fashion sense and I fell in love with her more.

This is one of my favorite scenes and is seen during the opening when she walked out of the cab right in front of Tiffany & Co. with bagel and coffee. Isn’t she lovely?

This is her signature look all throughout the movie. Floppy hat, black dress, and her cat-eye shades.

YES. Those leopard print cat-eye shades I can’t help on obsessing.

And oh, I forgot to mention her uber long cigar holder she uses at parties which caused a lot of trouble. HAHA!

Her eye mask and dangling ear-plugs with little blue tassels are absolutely gorgeous.

Audrey has such a wonderful voice too! And looks super dashing even in home clothes with turban. Take a look at her wonderful fingers on her guitar. NOOOYCE.

How can someone look so fashionable while traveling? Audrey makes NO effort 😉

 

One can say too much about her but it is the fact: AUDREY HEPBURN is epic. She’s the prettiest I’ve seen in the world and she is an astounding actress. Beyond words. I bow on her 🙂

But did you guys know that Shia Labeouf‘s girlfriend, Carey Mulligan‘s always compared to her? She’s a great actress too.. and pretty 🙂

If you guys enjoyed Breakfast At Tiffany’s as much as I did, and you’re an Audrey Hepburn fan too, her movie, Sabrina is the second on my favorite AH movie list. My best friend, Ninez suggested it and I fell in love with the younger, more fashionable Audrey (in a non sexual way HAHA) at once.

Buses and trains and cabs

I’d like to think that people have more than one soulmate.

And you know what,
if you miss one, along comes another one.
Like cabs.

I never thought that forever would end today. But it did 😦
I’m just glad that I could blog under my sheets using my phone because I don’t know how else I’m gonna remove all these thoughts. Don’t worry, NO morbid ones.
I just felt my heart drop to my feet. It’s amazing how the freaking Friday song dint make me laugh tonight but at least I have my cousins who don’† even make an effort to make me roll on the floor with laughter.

Finals tomorrow. I need to hit the sack now. After all,
If you want the rainbow, you’ve got to put up with the rain.

It never gets easier. You just get better :)

Last Monday, we had our Grand Case Presentation (as if proposal hearing wasn’t enough!) about Subarachnoid Hemorrhage Secondary to Ruptured Aneurysm.

Yes! It’s the freakin GCP baby and we aced it! (We’re so done too).

My part was to discuss the drugs Tramadol and Pantoloc.
Everyone did a great job but I miss my section Rawr family 😦
GCP was different back then. But oh well, here are some pics I’m psyched to share with you.

Minnie Muse ♥

Last March 15, 2011 ate Anne and baby Milo Soabas arrived from Vienna and gave my cousins and I goodies. I got this Minnie Mouses divided tee by H&M along with my fave Milka chocolates 🙂

I’ve been seeing a lot of mouse stuff in fashion from Weheartit, Tumblr, lookbook, Polyvore, Fashionlista and o lot more fashion/blog/social sites 🙂
Headbands, rings, tees, the disney character doesn’t seem to grow old. So I made a compilation of looks and on how to mix and match at the same time be stylish with your Minnie/Mickey Mouse garments.

Tassles are back -my first fashion post

 

For those of you who don’t know, I am a very active twitter person and I follow everyone who’s anyone 🙂
So just when I was watching Vera Wang and her latest collection on ETC, a tweet popped out of my timeline saying that Tassles are back #fashion #shoes. My fingers immediately took me to my blog and I just had to type my thoughts away.

I was actually browsing through SUELAS, a store/onlineshop that sells really cheap and nice shoes that are comfy and convenient for traveling (plus their shoes are rollable!).

Who’s That Girl: Red Riding Hood..?

Last night, I had a random moment with cousins. Yes, it was a miracle that i decided to stay in on a friday night. I’ve been so stressed with school for the past few weeks and all I wanna do with my free time is to sleep.

So just as when I was under my sheets (as early as 8pm), ate Nikko invited me and my cousin, Bea to watch the Anne-Luis movie “Who’s That Girl” since Giann and Paulo are watching Los Angeles… whatever-title-that-movie-has.

It was SOOOO funny when we arrived at the movie house. First, there was NO Who’s That Girl showing at all so we decided to watch Red Riding Hood (we hesitated because it’s 30% on rotten tomatoes but we aren’t really movie critics so we watched anyway). We were thinking our movie’s gonna be at 10:25 pm not knowing we’re looking at the wrong screen. I couldn’t make out the words and numbers either since I wasn’t wearing glasses or contacts. Good thing we finally figured out that the movie was at 9:25 and it’s gonna be the last full show. We literally ran as fast as our feet could at the same time laughing at our own mistake. HAHA

The movie was okay by the way. I was screaming the whole time although it’s a bit dragging. Okay I’m not spoiling you guys so I aint talking no more :DD (just this one bit: SHILOH FERNANDEZ, the guy who played Peter in the movie was REALLY REALLY smokin HOT. I melted on my seat).

Nothing else special happened to me lately except that next week’s finally our FINALS (our school sucks when it comes to giving students day offs) and on Monday, we’re gonna have our Grand Case Presentation which is why I’m as busy as the Grand Central Station.

Goodbye for now! I have one night to get my much awaited 12hr-sleep 🙂 i can’t wait to be on dreamland I could almost taste it. HAHA!
