October 9, 2011

Oh hello, October! :)

First week of October was great! πŸ™‚
It was the 4th, Tuesday and I spent an afternoon at Starbucks.

HAHA I always have this thing of makin out names for my drink.
This time, I was Katniss as in Katniss Everdeen from the Hunger Games Trilogy πŸ™‚

I went to Marks & Spencer to use my cousin’s card and bought my favorite digestive cookies. You guys should really try it! Perfect for your frap or any afternoon drink.

When I got home, my tita from Vienna surprised us with The Body Shop goodies and my favourite chocolate, MILKA πŸ™‚
By the way, NOISETTE is German for Nutella, Haselnuss is Hazelnut, and Joghurt is Youghurt πŸ˜€

Bisous,

FLYDAY

“Like evolution, in nation-building, we come into our own identity. But we never stop trying to improve. We never ‘arrive’. Just move forward.”

It’s Friday and every major event leaves people talking about it for decades, maybe even centuries. EDSA may be one such event. Yep, today, February 25, 2011 is a holiday and every Filipino remembers what has happened decades ago. I wasn’t born during EDSA so I’m not actually one of those who are sentimental today but I try to gather details for the love of my country πŸ˜‰
After all, geography is not the only requirement to be Filipino. Agree?

So as a free bird on a flyday, I went to Bench Fix Salon to get a haircut. My cousin, Kyle was generous enough to offer himself to go with me. Since I have a wavy hair and I’m actually tired to iron or blow dry it, I made specific instructions to the stylist that I want my idol, Saab Magalona‘s hair. I am taking a break from all the straighteners because I’m still gonna have it bun everyday due to my course. Right now, I just want my waves to fall into place.

This is my idol, blogger queen, Saab Magalona holding her high school picture. This photo came from her blog.
Yep, she used to rebond her hair back then too but now happy with her wavy locks πŸ™‚ isn’t she lovely?
(visit her blog by clicking her name. I have it linked on my blogroll too for easy access)

Viola! πŸ™‚

My hair is straight because they blow dried it. After I shower again we’ll see the outcome! πŸ™‚

So maybe Bianca Gonzalez nalang for today? HAHA

We went to Starbucks after to use the February coupon. If you have the 2011 planner, you should use it too! It expires on the 28th.

Nam nam πŸ™‚ first time to try iced caramel macchiato with jelly. Been loyal to caramel frap ever since!

Bought a couple of stuff too.

Finally!! I got a copy of the first book on The Hunger Games trilogy.

Been dying to read this for quite some time now. I have the UK version of the cover. I can’t wait to start reading this.

So happy that I was productive today πŸ™‚
That’s all for now.

P.S. ANTM Cycle 16’s just started πŸ™‚
