Story of my life..

whaddup mah peeps!! So yesterday, I experimented with my hair again. Dyed it in flaxen 😉

I was actually aiming for golden brown or ash blonde locks.. But it turned out to be okay. Still happy 🙂

And today, I had food and retail therapy because I’ve been spending months just inside the house. Long story short, I took an off-sem so I basically have 6 months of “vacation” til I go back to school.

After dyeing my hair yesterday, I finally realized that my brows need the pampering they deserve. So I went to the salon today and had it threaded and re-shaped 🙂 By the way, it was really painful!!!!!!! The last time I had threading was two months ago. I was basically crying the whole time HAHA
Also, I went around the mall by myself so I ended up buying whatever I find pleasant to my eyes. One day millionaire. Now I’m broke and back to bumming.

Happy dappy 🙂 was satisfied with my brows! I even gave tip to my err.. what do you call them? “stylist” HAHA

Then I went to Bo’s coffee shop to meet up with a good friend of mine, Christine and talked for ours. Then on the way home (she gave me a ride), we dropped by our plaza to eat street food. Their kwek kwek (or Quail’s egg) isn’t too yummy! But it was my first time to eat fried isaw –chicken’s intestine  (I used to eat only the grilled ones). Twas really good!

There you have it! I’ve been missing in action coz I went to my mom’s hometown, Dipolog City. Just got home last Sunday. Will make a separate post about my trip.

Food-a Fest

Food highlights last December before Christmas.

Korean ice creaaaaam! First time to try it. the vanilla and cheesecake ice cream sandwiches are to die fooor. Thanks to my girlfriend, Karen for taking me to the common USC-TC tambayan. I wouldn’t have the chance to discover it.

When my cousin Alina arrived from Vienna, she brought various kinds of cheeses. Among the variants are sheep’s, goat’s, cow’s cheeses and  even mountain cheese!
My personal fave is the sheep’s cheese, it’s uuuuber yummy! and the perfect one to pair with sky flakes is the cow’s.

When you have relatives in Europe, it’s never complete if they can’t bring Milka chocolates for pasalubong. It’s my number 1 favorite chocolate in the world (next is Merci ;)) Anyway, this time, my cousin brought Milka flavors that we’ve never tasted. I’ve always loved the hazelnuss (hazelnut) Milka. But I forgot about it when I tasted the Schoko & Keks and the Erdbeer Joghurt. Foodgasm to shorten the description.

Lychee shake at Vibes located behind Cebu Doctor’s University Hospital. It’s the next best thing to their durian shake 😉

Ber months mean that it’s the Starbucks sticker collection month. This year, I decided not to get their planner since I don’t go to Starbucks anymore. But when I saw the 2012 planner, it comes with a case. None of my sbux planners have cases so I decided to adjust my plans. So happy that for the first time in Starbucks history, they got my name right and it was my barista crush who  wrote it! 😉

The next day? FLOP. The barista was rude and I was “Nika” all over again.

These are a few of my favorite things..

When the dog bites, when the bee stings, when I’m feeling sad, I simply remember my favorite things and then I don’t feel so bad.

If you were singing while reading my blog title and the quoted lines, then you must have seen The Sound Of Music. Yes, it’s a super duper old movie but my mom introduced it to me and made we watch it so, it became our favorite film.

Whenever it rains, that’s always the first song that comes into my mind because I remember Maria (Julie Andrews) on her first day as a nanny, it was raining hard and the Von Trappe children were giving her a hard time.

Anyway, it has been raining nowadays in Cebu and I’ve been spending a lot of time with my mom who is generous enough to treat me whatever I want 🙂

When the month started, My lovie and I took our friend, Mikkah on a movie date to welcome her as a college freshman here in Cebu 🙂 all of us came from Pagadian City so it’s always nice to be with people from your hometown.

Yesterday, May 16, 2011 I was in food coma because 2 of my closest friends (and ex lovers :p) treated me at BIGBY’S.
maybe I’m a joiner (or a third wheel :p) but WHO CARES?????

After eating, as part of my contribution for Monday’s unexpected date, I treated them at Banana Booth which turned out an EPIC FAIL 😥

I wanna thank my lovie, ESSA  CAGAMPANG and my best, JAN VINCE PADAYAO for making my day and for dragging me to BIGBY’S.
And NO, Gluttony is not a sin 😉 hihi

Embracing Discipline :)

Hi everyone! ت It’s 2 am and I wish that I was sleeping. You’re in my head like a song on the radio ♬ ♬
Haha! I’m kidding! This is my first post using my wordpress app on my phone. I am so happy that I can blog anytime, anywhere!

So yeah, this is gonna be really random because (a) I’m in the middle of my Myasthenia Gravis digestion [in my brain] haha (b) it’s already 2am and I’ve got a nursing care seminar later at 8. I don’t like it when I don’t get my 8hr-sleep 😦
(c) I have a headache that can absolutely detach my brain from my skull [which I had since yesterday] and (d) I’ve had enough caffeine to make me really exaggerated in euphoria.

Thanks to my cousin, Kyle for bringing Caramel frap for me! ♥

I’m gonna be really busy this weekend because of my proposal hearing this Monday. So no SERIOUS blogging for me yet. My looks are even delayed for lookbook! Well, I can’t wait til I can sit infront of my lappy and do my pending posts.
For now I’m just gonna enjoy wordpress on my phone.ت
