That song pretty much sums up my life (love life if you wanna call it like that) right about now. Will tone down a little bit on the fashion hype on this blog. I think I am in the mood to get mellow just for tonight. (Eeeeeek did I sound uber cheesy??)
Anyway, it’s finally a month (or more) since I ended up a relationship I thought that would last. UGH. I sounded cheesy again HAHA but I couldn’t think of how else to say it :p
This time though, I guess it’s more than goodbye. I know my friends won’t believe this (even until now) because they’ve been used to the on-off relationship I had with this guy. And since it was long distance, they would assume that everything would be okay once we see each other again. At least that was before. Right now, turning back or insisting to stay would only mean no light at the end of the tunnel. eff Gotye. You are so damn right.
You can get addicted to a certain kind of sadness.
Maybe……. it’s true what they say.. Some people just wake up one day and all their feelings for someone are suddenly gone. I wouldn’t call it “falling out of love” it’s not like that.. The love is still there.. kind of.. It’s just that, it’s not the same anymore. As Adam Levine would put it in his song,
I know it’s hard to remember the people we used to be.
It’s even harder to picture, that you’re not here next to me.

Loneliness stealthily creeps in whenever I see a couple from a distance hugging and holding each other. That’s when I look to my left shoulder and wish your presence was here but there was nothing. It’s the comfort that I look for that’s making me wanting to be in a relationship. Comfort, to be comfortable around that one person. I guess I will have to wait.

I am finally back after a month’s hiatus! I apologize for being such an irresponsible, neglecting “blogger” I promise to try my best to make it up to you on this post.
So.. long story short, I was in Cebu for a month to attend some important stuff at the same time “vacationing” for summer. I am just going to summarize the highlighted events of my vacay and I will try to make separate posts of it. For now, I’m just gonna share a couple of photos.
The main reason why I went to Cebu is to process my transcript of records because I am going to transfer to another school to finish my nursing course. Yup! I am finally and fully decided. I need a diploma already to get on with life.
then…….. I was there to attend the hunger games’ premiere 🙂 I was super excited, I’ve spammed my fb and twitter about it for two weeks. HAHA
While I was on the plane, I was surprised to find a magazine that featured THG! HAHA well it was mainly about Jennifer Lawrence and her role as Katniss Everdeen.. but whatever.. still THG related HAHA
the night on that day, we attended the last full show and wore our customized shirts 🙂 On the right is my cousin, Bea and that Team Peeta shirt of hers glowed inside the cinema. She used that special glow in the dark glue for tees. Forgive us, that was the only fan mode day we had. HAHA
We occupied the whole “L” row and we were as usual the noisiest. The people behind us must have been very annoyed HAHAHA We got the best seats because we, well, my awesome cousin Kyle reserved it a month before. 🙂
The next day, I met up with my lovie Essa and a couple of my CDU friends to watch Anne Curtis-Smith’s No Other Concert at Waterfront. I’m sorry I couldn’t give you teaser pics. My brilliant mind forgot to bring my cousin’s DSLR and my point-and-shoot camera has no memory card. Genius, I know. *facepalm* All I had was my cybershot phone and it was no hope. And that ticket photo isn’t mine either. HAHA grabbed it from Essa’s twitter.
The after party was spent in Alchology with my cousins (sorry!the photos are kind of private :D)
On April Fool’s Day, my cousin had visitors from MNL and we gladly took them for some kilid-kilid shots at Streetlow then to Mountain View.

Those are the only “decent” pics I could find. Everything was either blurred (from playing German game and laughing too much) or too dark (because we couldn’t we figure out the SLR’s freaking flash and we’re having too much fun to experiment)
Then came the Holy Week. My cousins and I had an impromptu decision to go to the beach at 2 in the afternoon. HAHA It was so hot in the house and we were so bored and we just needed some sun, sand, and the ocean.
We even brought home a pet jelly fish! But it died without even a name 😦 huhu
Biyernes Santo is family day 🙂 Visita Iglesia to seven churches and then lunch at Co Jordan.
We finished the 14 stations of the cross, had seafood for lunch, and the place was just so peaceful. it was a very holy day 🙂

Mid April, I attended my cousin and lovie’s graduation! yaaay! 🙂 Well, I wasn’t actually on the graduation ceremony because it was 7 in the morning and I was still sleeping. Went to their pinning which was held in the afternoon (that’s justifying their gala uniforms haha in case you’re wondering why they aren’t wearing togas)
That’s the last important event in my summer. My remaining days in Cebu were spent on satisfying cravings, playing scrabble or rummi with family, and then packing – loads of it. Sorted things that are to be shifted back home and stuff that I will include in my new room (yes I’m moving!!)
When I get back on May, it will be a whole new life. and when I say new, that includes EVERYTHING. Heartaches and heartbreaks left behind, mistakes were laughed at but will not be forgotten, old friends remain but ready to make new ones, and I guess it’s safe to say that I’m closer to where I’m supposed to be than yesterday.

Hiyaaaa! First of all, I wanna apologize for being so lazy on updating my blog. I’m not even busy HAHA but anyway, FINALLY! here is my waaaaaaaaay long overdue post about Valentine’s Day.
I wanna make this special since I’m doing this on the 1st day of March HAHA (yes, it’s already the start of the 3rd month of the year even with the extra day last February)
I don’t actually anticipate Valentine’s Day. Well, it was fun during high school and it was still during college coz I get to go on different dinner dates with my various group of friends. In high school, it was all about being swoon and having the young love and the first of everything. Since I entered college, I’ve been in a long distance relationship for (almost) 4 years already, Vday became nothing but an ordinary day for me.
So I woke up a bit early because my mom and I went cloth hunting and shopping for my pre-made clothes.

Before I was shot for these photos, I had a total meltdown while putting on make-up.
Le boyf’s sissie arrived and delivered a bouquet of flowers and 3 packs of M&Ms. I was totally lost for words. It’s not the first time he ever surprised me but I wasn’t expecting ANYTHING at all.
Oh you know the cliche,
Flowers will wither within weeks and chocolate will only stay in your mouth for seconds.
But I felt like I was in high school all over again and I suddenly realized that I am with someone who knows what they have when they have me. Love may be a word used too much and much too soon but love doesn’t come along too often. When it does, only the foolish let it fade.
How many people in a relationship can say that they love their partner even more each day? Cheesy shiz right? But I’m not ashamed to admit that I’m one of the few who can say it.
There is only one happiness in the world. To love and to be loved.

Okay, I know I am late but I watch this trailer at least twice a day and I think I ought to share this to you. (PS. I always get teary-eyed everytime. I could already imagine myself watching this in the movie house HAHA).
I’m a sucker for romantic films– tragic romantic films like If Only, A Walk To Remember, The Time Traveler’s Wife, One Day and The Notebook. *takes le big sigh* The Vow is an addition to my list which makes it look like more of a Rachel McAdams movie list. HAHA But anyway, I think she’s blessed to be always part of movies like this and I’ve always loved her. Korean ice creaaaaam! First time to try it. the vanilla and cheesecake ice cream sandwiches are to die fooor. Thanks to my girlfriend, Karen for taking me to the common USC-TC tambayan. I wouldn’t have the chance to discover it.
When my cousin Alina arrived from Vienna, she brought various kinds of cheeses. Among the variants are sheep’s, goat’s, cow’s cheeses and even mountain cheese!
My personal fave is the sheep’s cheese, it’s uuuuber yummy! and the perfect one to pair with sky flakes is the cow’s.
When you have relatives in Europe, it’s never complete if they can’t bring Milka chocolates for pasalubong. It’s my number 1 favorite chocolate in the world (next is Merci ;)) Anyway, this time, my cousin brought Milka flavors that we’ve never tasted. I’ve always loved the hazelnuss (hazelnut) Milka. But I forgot about it when I tasted the Schoko & Keks and the Erdbeer Joghurt. Foodgasm to shorten the description.

Ber months mean that it’s the Starbucks sticker collection month. This year, I decided not to get their planner since I don’t go to Starbucks anymore. But when I saw the 2012 planner, it comes with a case. None of my sbux planners have cases so I decided to adjust my plans. So happy that for the first time in Starbucks history, they got my name right and it was my barista crush who wrote it! 😉
The next day? FLOP. The barista was rude and I was “Nika” all over again.

Mom knows how obsessed I am with nail polish and anything else that’s got to do with it. So she bought me a pedicure set and 2 hues of F21 nail lacquer.
Just last month, November 14, Forever 21 PH opened a branch in Cebu! So my friends and I went to the opening even if we were all broke (I only had 50 pesos in my wallet that time and nothing more)

I was really freaking out when I found a row of gel eyeliners. Would you believe that it’s only 95php per tube? so I bought 2 since I’m going to be in Mindanao for quite a while and I’m sure it’s is going to be sold out in less than a week. I was dying to buy the one in Maybelline but it’s actually 400 bucks per tube.
